Symptoms
- An AdBlue fault message and a countdown of kilometres to a power limit
- Power or speed limited after an emissions message
- White deposits (AdBlue crystals) on the dosing injector or lines
- The AdBlue level doesn't drop, or drops much faster than usual
What we do on site
We read the fault codes and system data and check the pump, dosing injector, lines, heaters and the AdBlue level and quality sensor. We clean crystallised parts, replace damaged ones, and after the repair we clear the faults and check the dosing.
Roadside repair limits
- Replacing the SCR catalyst, the tank or the pump module depends on parts being available; if they need ordering, we agree a date.
- If the tank was filled with the wrong fluid, it has to be drained and flushed; we tell you straight away whether that can be done on site.
What to send on WhatsApp
- The make, model and year of the tractor unit
- Your location: a location pin, or the motorway, direction and nearest exit
- A photo of the dashboard message showing the kilometres left before the power limit
- A photo of the dosing injector or lines if you can see white deposits
Questions and answers
Do you remove DPF, EGR or AdBlue?
No. We diagnose, clean and repair these systems, but we never remove or disable them.
The truck is counting down the kilometres to an AdBlue power limit. What should I do?
Don't wait until it reaches zero. Take a photo of the message showing the kilometres and call, or send it on WhatsApp. We diagnose the system on site and tell you whether it can be repaired straight away.
